Reflection Meetings on Peace & Security

The aim of these meetings is to provide a framework for reflection on the current challenges facing Africa in the area of peace and security. To this end, Afrika Nunya brings together a diverse panel of high-level African political and socio-economic personalities for a brainstorming session in the traditional African palaver-tree format. Based on the idea that Africans must re-appropriate the African narrative and have centers of thought that are not dependent on external resources, the meeting will conclude with recommendations for research and action. These recommendations will help Africa find its distinctive path in the current geopolitical context.
